Self Portrait Plan

  1. I am planning to have one light and one reflector.
  2. I'll try using both but not at the same time to see the difference.
  3. Maybe one, but if I'm using the camera's timer and constant light then I won't probably need one.
  4. I want a dark background, not necessarily black but as longs as it's not white.
  5. Normal/ standard lens.

Motion Preview

  1. Slowing down shutter speed helps you capture motion on your photos
  2.  One way is selecting a longer shutter speed, second could be panning and also using a tripod.
  3. Shutter Priority Mode allows you to have complete control of it, meanwhile the camera controls the rest of the setting to get a good photo.
  4. The three methods you can use to compensate for long shutter speed when there is too much light are:
  • adjusting the Aperture to a smaller size
  • decreasing the ISO, this affects the sensibility of your camera's sensor
  • trying a new density filter, these filters cut the amount of light going into the lens it kind of acts like sunglasses
     5.  It would depend on the subject's speed, but it should have a slow shutter speed.
     6. Its the fasted auto focus point, and you can use it as a target for your focus object.
     7. It allows you to continuously keep focusing.
     8. Al-Servo mode focuses on a the moving object, so as you move the closer or further the camera
constantly adjusting the focus keeping the object as sharp as possible
     9. The advantage of using Al-Servo in sports/action photography is that even if the subject moves it
         will still keep focus
     10. the camera will not refocus on its own, you can now control when to focus on the object you're shooting.
     11. When you are using BBF you might have problems if you are shooting a still life. The picture might come blurry because you camera will try to look for something that is in motion to focus it.
